With a passion for Jesus and a heart for our local community, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Families and Community Worker to help us grow our ministry among children and their families.   • To provide a nurturing and creative environment that helps children grow in their faith;

  • To bring innovation and energy to our children’s ministry, including reviving Messy Church or developing new initiatives;

  • To envision, equip, and support our team of volunteers;

  • To act as an authentic role model of the Christian faith to those within and outside of the church;

  • With strong people skills and a hospitable heart, willing to take risks and try new things;

  • Who will actively participate in the life of Homelands Free Church with a passion to further the kingdom of God.

About Us

Homelands Free Church was originally planted 50 years ago as a mission to the local growing estates. While we are currently a congregation of mostly older folks, we have a good heart for working with children and families and established connections with four local primary schools and a secondary academy. We aim to offer our neighbours the opportunity to encounter Jesus and begin a journey of faith and hope. There is a genuine occupational requirement that the post-holder is a Christian.
